In January 1935, The School of Military Aviation received its first five Tiger Moths, which were immediately put into action on account of an armed revolt taking place at the time in north east Uruguay.
In that unexpected fashion, this classic of world aviation began her service in our military wings which would last for almost 15 years, teaching generations of young men how to fly and carrying out multi role duties until the last flights in 1949.
